Magnetic cat eye gel polish is a type of gel nail polish infused with magnetic particles. When a magnet is held over the wet polish, the particles align, creating a distinct, reflective pattern that changes with the angle of the light and the position of the magnet.
▲Preparation:
Start with clean, filed nails.
Push back and trim the cuticles.
Buff the nails gently to remove shine and ensure better adhesion.
▲Base Coat:
Apply a thin layer of base coat and cure under a UV/LED lamp for the recommended time (usually 30-60 seconds).
▲Base Color (Optional):
Apply a base color if desired. Black or dark colors work best to enhance the cat-eye effect.
Cure the base color under the UV/LED lamp.
▲Application of Cat Eye Gel Polish:
Apply a thin layer of the magnetic cat eye gel polish. Do not cure yet.
Hold the special magnet over the nail for 10-15 seconds. Experiment with different angles and positions to create various effects (straight lines, diagonal lines, waves, etc.).
Cure the polish under the UV/LED lamp.
▲Second Coat (Optional):
For a more intense effect, apply a second layer of cat eye gel polish and repeat the magnet process.
Cure under the lamp.
▲Top Coat:
Apply a top coat to seal in the design and add shine.
Cure under the UV/LED lamp.
▲Final Touch:
Wipe off any sticky residue with an alcohol wipe or cleanser.
